E3 2021: Razer's ultra-fast 14-inch gaming laptop, as well as the Project Hazel face mask

Gaming on your smartphone or tablet isn't cutting it for you? At the Electronic Entertainment Expo, video game gear firm Razer unveiled the world's most powerful 14-inch gaming laptop.

The Razer Blade 14, which starts at $1,799 and is available now on razer.com, features the latest AMD CPU and NVIDIA graphics processors.

The Blade 14 is "like a laptop from the future," according to Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan, who stated at an online E3 presentation Monday that it is only 0.66 inches thick and weighs less than 4 pounds.

The laptop comes with THX Spatial Audio 7.1 surround sound and a 12-hour battery life guarantee. QHD and GeForce RTX 3070 ($2,199.99) and QHD/RTX 3080 CPU ($2,799.99) are higher-tech combinations featuring a QHD display (better resolution than full HD) and quicker graphics chips than the basic GeForce RTX 3060.

The 17.3-inch Razer Blade, which retailed for $2,800 a decade ago, was Razer's first gaming laptop.

The Razer CEO also revealed that Project Hazel, the company's high-tech smart mask, is in the works and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2021. Those who want to be notified when a product becomes available can join up at razer.com

A new 27-inch Raptor PC display is also on the way from Razer, which THX claims is the first PC display to receive THX Certification for visual reproduction. The Razer Raptor 27 will be available for $799.99 in the first quarter of 2021.

A new USB-C 130W GaN (gallium nitride) Charger ($179.99, coming in 30 days) from Razer charges laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other devices up to twice as fast as normal chargers. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, measuring approximately 3 inches by 2.5 inches, and it can charge up to four gadgets at once.
