The Microsoft Windows 10 taskbar has been redesigned to accommodate new widgets. Users can now view weather updates and news feeds, which are fully configured to include topics of interest in the system tray.
The update has been pretested among Windows Insider users and has been approved to be fully promoted on all Windows 10 devices.
According to Microsoft, the widget displays accurate and “useful” information about news, sports, promotions, and traffic updates.
A blog post from Microsoft introduced the new look and working style of the taskbar.
The user sees weather information in the system tray. Clicking it will open an executive summary containing news, promotions, sports, and traffic information.
Microsoft is testing the new features included in the latest Windows 10 update. Starting from January 2020, Windows Insiders can use this feature.
The new Windows 10 system tray widget uses a card that users can customize according to their preferences to display information.
Or delete the topic by expanding the widget and clicking “Manage Leads” at the top of the widget. If they don’t want to use it, the user can turn off the widget completely.
Microsoft announced that this update will be launched in the next few weeks to attract more customers. The complete implementation will be completed in the next few months.
In other news related to Windows 10, Microsoft has added Snipping Tool and MS Paint to its Microsoft Store. These applications can now be updated through the store.
However, it is currently part of the Windows 10 Insider program and is only available through Windows 10 Preview Build 21354. MS Paint also received replacement icons.
Since the introduction of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update in 2017, Microsoft has been trying to force MS Paint users to use 3D Paint.
