What should I do if WhatsApp on my phone or smart device has already started giving issues?
If your smartphone or device is no longer supporting WhatsApp you will need to upgrade to a newer version model that has a supporting operating system.
Don't panic, as it is not likely that the WhatsApp will stop working immediately. And, if you do purchase a new smartphone or smart device that is compatible with the app, your existing account will be reactivated when you enter the same phone number associated with it.
While it’s unlikely to transfer chat history between different platforms, such as from Android to IOS, you can still keep your chat history. You do it by exporting your chat history to an email attachment before November, 2021
