WhatsApp has announced the launch of a number of new features on its platform. There's a new Disappearing Mode, a new View Once feature, and multi-device support, among other things.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, and Will Cathcart, the CEO of WhatsApp, both acknowledged these functionalities. They revealed this information in a one-of-a-kind WhatsApp conversation with a well-known features tracker. Cathcart also expressed optimism about the future of iOS beta sign-ups and iPad support.

n the chat, the two execs revealed that a new Disappearing Mode feature will be released soon. This will enable disappearing messages for all future chats by default, making the WhatsApp experience more fleeting.

Users may now enable Disappearing Messages in individual groups and chats, but Disappearing Mode will make it available across all conversations and groups in the app.

Another feature confirmed by Zuckerberg during the talk is 'View Once,' which allows users to transfer content and have it disappear once the recipient sees it.

When this option is selected, the recipient can only open photographs and videos once before they are removed from the conversation.

Multi-device functionality was also confirmed by Zuckerberg and Cathcart, who also stated that public beta testing would begin in a month or two. The feature took a long time to build because of many hurdles, according to Zuckerberg.

Getting all of your messages and material to sync has been a huge technological struggle,” he said. The company maintains, however, that all issues have been rectified, and that users will soon be able to use the same WhatsApp account on many devices without having to log out of any of them.

Cathcart went on to say that if multi-device functionality is perfected, WhatsApp would be able to work on iPad support as well.

Furthermore, he stated that WhatsApp will consider offering beta sign-ups to more iOS users in the near future, and that multi-device capability will allow users to connect up to four devices simultaneously.
