As per the leaked reports The JIO Cloud Laptop is currently being tested on HP Chromebook. Feature of the JIO cloud can be also accessed on your existing laptop, computer, smart T.V you do not need to buy additional new device to try their cloud laptop features

As per the reports in The Economics Times a senior official from JIO quoted “The cost of a laptop depends on its hardware like memory, processing power, chipset etc. The considerable capacity of these hardware increases the costs as well as battery capacity. What we are doing is, we are disposing all this and the whole processing of the laptop will happen at our back end in the JIO cloud." It seems to be the similar innovation as we have experienced in past when mobile phone was launched by reliance with CDMA restriction or mobile sim cards on a very low price internet accessibly so that everyone can access high specification computing device

Currently Apple iCloud+, GoogleOne or googlecloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon webservices, Alibaba Cloud, HostGator, VMware etc is leading the market with the cloud based computing so JIO is planning to disrupt the market by similar and better features on a low cost price range so that it is affordable to lower middle class Indian.
